Why Sulat exists
I built Sulat because I needed it.
"Sulat" is the Filipino word for write.
I'm an aspiring novelist, and like a lot of writers, I had a problem: my story was everywhere. The manuscript was in one place. Character notes were somewhere else. Ideas were scattered across documents. Important details lived in my head — until, inevitably, I forgot them.
I wanted one place where I could actually write the novel and everything that belongs to it. So I built Sulat.
It's still a work in progress, just like the stories it's made for. But that's the point. Sulat is being built by a writer, for writers who have stories they desperately want to finish.
